The occultation of a star by asteroid Palatia - 01 November 2024
Clear skies, promising predictions of occultations - and success did not take long. A faint star and an observation at the edge of my technical capabilities. But it was possible to record an occultation by asteroid Palatia (diameter approx. 84 km).

The begin of occultation was at 17:05:38.930 UTC +/- 0.232s; end at 17:05:40.698 UTC +/- 0.232s. Total duration is 1.768s +/- 0.308s.
