This night was a holiday for me. My new mount in my new observatory began to carry a new telescope – 36cm Newton. The sky was not absolutely clear and it was often very foggy, however, for testing it was good enough.

There was an astrophotographic workshop in my very old wooden cottage ("drevenica" in Slovak - English speakers can learn a special word) from 15 to 17 April 2011. It was focused on processing of astronomical photos, processing of HDRI photos and lots of other topics from practical astronomy.
more...Snowy weekend - 18 February 2012
Region Kysuce, I live in, became paralysed after several days of continuous snowing. There were thousands of trucks on the roads incapable of moving forward, trains ware stopped, cars and buses had serious problems to move as well. The situation was so bad that the army was involved to help.
ESA 2012 - 29 July 2012
ESA (Ebicycle of Slovak astronomers) has visited my observatory this year. After the arrival all participants took a look at my observatory and my very old wooden house in which the spent their night. After the tour we ended in a garden house with grilled delicacies and had a chat for a long time during the night.
