The occultation of a star by asteroid Adria - 19 July 2025
Asteroid Adria was discovered in 1875 by the Czech-Austrian astronomer Johann Palisa. Until now, the diameter had been estimated at about 93 km. This occultation showed that the true diameter must be about 110 km.
